PROMOTE is an abbreviation for Patient Reported Outcome Measures Online To Enhance communication and quality of life. The KLIK Study aims to enhance child-clinician-parent communication and quality of life, and improve follow-up treatment for children diagnosed with a brain tumour.
DROP-IN CENTRE
The Drop In Mental Health And Wellbeing Centre is a research project at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. It was designed to find out if a drop-in centre that provides psychological support to young people and families attending the hospital can improve the mental and physical wellbeing of patients and families.
KLIK
KLIK is an abbreviation for Kwaliteit van Leven In Kaart (Dutch) which means monitoring Quality of life in daily clinical practice. KLIK is a web-based method which can be used to give a clear overview of the quality of life of a chronically ill child who needs to come to hospital for regular check-ups, and their parents.
